Environmental Education activities
The LIFE FORESTALL project has defined a communication strategy and actions aimed at raising awareness and disseminating the results of the project towards different target audiences from the very beginning. Environmental education activities at the WWF Oasis of Valle Averto have included, in addition to the ordinary openings, 5 days of special openings per year, for 4 years, for the public and 5 days per year, again for 4 years, dedicated to school visits with expert nature guides, conferences, educational workshops and environmental education activities in order to raise awareness on issues related to the lagoon, forest conservation problems, respect and protection of the environment, and to improve knowledge of the protected area.

The classes that participated in the educational activities in the Oasis were given a useful educational comic booklet free of charge, which also through games and stickers allows students to learn about the habitats and species present at the WWF Oasis of Valle Averto.
